1.     The RCR will relieve the 6th South Staffords in the LENS SECTOR Right Front Line sub-sector and the 5th South Staffords (has one Company) in the LENS SECTOR right support sub-section.

2.     Reliefs will be as follows:-

"D" Coy. The R.C.R.Left Front Line Coy. 6th S. Staffords.N.19.c.80.5.

3.     Each Company will end and advance party of one Officer and 8 O.R's today to take over the new line. 4 of these O.R's will proceed to guide rendezvous and return tonight to guide their Companies to the guide rendezvous tomorrow night. Lieut. ISBESTER and Sergeant BOWYER will take over for H.Q. Coy. tomorrow.

4.     The remaining 4 O.R's of the Advance Parties will return to the guide rendezvous tomorrow night to guide each platoon to its position in the line. The South Staffords have arranged to supply 1 guide per platoon and 1 for each Coy H.Q.

Guide rendezvous will be:-

"A", "B" and "D" Coy's. - Junction BARROW ROAD and FOREST HILL LANE (M.98.d.77.65.)
"C" Coy. - NAPOO CORNER (M.22.d.57.10.)

The time at which guides will rendezvous depends upon the visibility and will be notified later thru the South Staffords Battalions.

5.     Time of moving off will be notified later.

6.     Steps will be taken by Unit Commanders to ensure that no unnecessary movement by daylight takes place previous to the relief.

7.     Details of relief in present area by a Unit of the 4th Division will be notified later. Coy's will not wait for relief to arrive tomorrow night. 1 Officer and 8 O.R's will remain behind to hand over.

8.     Twenty four tins of water per Company will be taken over from the South Staffords. Companies will each carry ten additional ins from this area. The remainder together with all trench stores will be handed over to the relieving battalion.

9.     The Q.M. will arrange to send rations by raill to CROW DUMP tomorrow night. Companies will arrange for carrying or truck pushing parties to Coy. Headquarters.

10.     Two copies of receipts for trench stores handed over and taken over together with Disposition Map and trench strength States will be submitted to Battalion Headquarters by 8.30 a.m. 13th inst.

11.     Completion of Relief will be immediately reported to battalion headquarters by the code word "SPRING".
