27th Oct 1917.
The Regiment will be prepared to move into the Line tonight.
1. Advance Parties and Guides will be sent forward on receipt of definite information.
2. Men will be fully equipped as per instructions issued yesterday. All Water Bottles will be filled before moving off.
Greatcoats and Rubber Sheets will be taken into the Line.
Blankets will be placed in Packs and piled, before moving off, ready to be taken away by Transport. Officers' Kits will be called for by Transport, one hour before moving off.
Only Mess Kits will be taken by Limber into the Line.
Lewis Guns and magazines will be carried by the men.
Care will be taken that equipment issued is not dumped by the men before reaching the Line.
3. 24 hours Rations will be carried by the men into the Line.
4. The Camp will be left in a thoroughly clean and sanitary condition.
