Battalion Drill.
Battalion in Attack.
Extended Order formation.
4th and 5th hours.

3rd. DAY.

Advanced Guards and Outpost Schemes.

4th. DAY.

1st, 2nd and 3rd hours.
Small prepared schemes of attack.
4th and 5th hours.
Route march.

5th. DAY.

Prepared Schemes of attack, lunches carried.

Each branch of the training will be progressive and be carried out according to a Syllabus prepared by the Specialist Officer of that branch.

1. Training of Snipers on range.

2. Training of Bombers and Rifle grenadiers in live throwing.

3. Training of all men on a rifle range.

4. Firing of Lewis Guns on a range.

5. Training of Scouts in Map Reading, Observation, Reporting, etc.

6. Signallers will be trained under the Signalling Officer.

7. The Medical Officer will train Stretcher Bearers.

8. All Officers will have revolver practice on the range.

9. Runners will receive special instruction in methods of transmitting messages from Signalling Officer, and in Map Reading from Scout Officer.

The subject of the lecture Will be given out each day and a wide and comprehensive range of subjects will be prepared.
