R.C.R. Order No. 23.
1. The Royal Canadian Regiment will be relieved on the night 9/10TH August by P.P.C.L.I.
2. Companies will furnish 1 man per platoon to act as guides to incoming battalion. They will report at Bn. Hq. At 2.30 am 9th Inst, and will carry 24 hours rations. "C" Co. will supply one additional guide for Culvert. 1 N.C.O. per Company will be detailed to take over Billets at Bund and will report at Bn. HQ. 2.30 am. 9th inst.
3. Lewis Guns will provide one man per gun to report at Half Way House 9.30 inst. To guide relieving teams to positions.
4. Bombers will supply one guide per Bombing Post, and 1 per section to guide incoming bombers to positions, to report at Half Way House 9.30 pm, 9th inst.
5. Signals and Scouts will relieve under their own arrangements.
6. Trench Stores, etc. will be handed over, receipts in triplicate will be obtained, which should also state that the trenches taken over are in a sanitary condition when taken over. One receipt will be forwarded to Bn. Hq.
7. All spare kits and water cans must be at respective ration dumps at 10.30 pm.
8. On relief Companies and Detachments will march independently to ZILLEBEKE BUND where guides will meet them. Bn., less one platoon, will be billeted in dugouts in the BUND. 1 platoon "D" Co. will garrison strong at IH and IK.
9. Completion of relief to be reported by runner to Bn Hq.
10. Code word SANDBAGS.

AFTER ORDER No. 1
1. Para 8 of R.C.R. Order No. 23 is cancelled and the following substituted:-
"A" and "D" Co's will march to ZILLEBEKE BUND where an N.C.O. will meet them at North end of Bund to direct them to their Billets.
H.Q., "B" and "C" Co's will proceed to Infantry Barracks where guides will meet them and direct them to their respective Billets.
Headquarters will move to Ramparts.
