Reference Maps - 1/5000 KEMMEL DEFENCES
In the event of a serious attack of our immediate front the R.C.R., 49th Battn., 42nd Battn. & P.P.C.L.I. will be ordered to occupy KEMMEL HILL defences.
The force detailed will be under the command of Lieut. Colonel A.H. MACDONELL D.S.O.
R.C.R., less 1 Company will occupy VANCOUVER SECTION.
"A" Company and 5 & 6 Platoons "B" Coy. will occupy the line from N.20.D.6.4. to N.20.B.9.5.
"B" Company, less 5 & 6 Platoons will occupy STANLEY PARK WORKS.
"C" Company will be in support in THE NARROWS N.20.C.1.7.
"D" Company will form a part of the Defence reserve under Major M.C. McLENNAN, 42nd Battn. at N.25.A.9.7.
On receipt of written instructions, Company Commanders will at once march their companies to the ground allotted to them, men out on working parties will follow as soon as possible.
Company Commanders will at once report when they have taken over the trenches or have reached their destination, to the Adjutant at Battn, H.Q.
Each Company Commander will have three runners to be at Coy. Headquarters, and 1 at Battn. H.Q. under N.C.O. i/c runners.

R.C.R. will move via BAILLEUL YPRES ROIAD to cross roads M.17.C.6.5. - BRULOOZE crossroads M.24.A.8.3. - N.19.C.8.0. - N.19.D.9.4.
O.C. Coys. will arrange that Platoon Commanders and selected N.C.O's visit the trenches they are to occupy.
O.C. Companies will draw the Quartermaster , R.C.R., before moving off, 50 additional rounds per man to be carried on man (Bandolier).
The following details will remain in Camp unless otherwise ordered:-
(C.Q.M.S's will always accompany the rations to the Company and report to Company Commanders before returning.)
